Our Story
We’ve had the privilege of building a community that has made a lasting impact on over 1,000 counselors, students, and professionals across the nation. What started as a response to the overwhelming cost of resources has grown into something much more, an inclusive, supportive space where people can study, connect, and uplift each other. This community is now known as the Counselor Support & Success Initiative (CSSI).

Together co-founders Tessa and Sonata, decided to do something about the barrier posed by expensive resources. Through CSSI, we launched free Zoom study sessions that bring people together from all walks of life, first time test takers, those who have faced multiple attempts, and seasoned professionals returning to the field. Our sessions are accessible with a one-time community fee, ensuring that everyone has access to the support they need without the burden of ongoing costs.
In addition to study sessions, we host community building events like prayer groups, game nights, and more. These gatherings have cultivated real relationships and a sense of belonging within the group. This isn’t just about passing an exam, it’s about building a community that truly cares for one another. Our members aren’t just participants; they are family, sharing their fears, triumphs, and lives with one another in ways that transcend the profession.

On top of that, we’ve partnered with a professional tutor who offers affordable, specialized sessions for those seeking extra guidance. While we aren’t professional tutors, we’ve worked hard to bring in the right people and resources to support everyone in their journey.
What we’ve created through CSSI is more than just a study group; it’s a space where people who might otherwise feel isolated or overwhelmed can find connection and support. Our community is filled with laughter, encouragement, and hope. Some members came to us ready to give up, but have left with renewed sense of confidence and the knowledge that they are not alone in this journey.
